My family and I recently enjoyed a cozy escape while attending a wedding at nearby Gosfield Hall, and I must say, this spot delivers on several fronts. The room was notably spacious and equipped with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and warm heating-perfect for relaxing after a long day's festivities. Free Wi-Fi made planning our next adventures a breeze, though we spent most of our time admiring the stunning views of the lake from our terrace. Breakfast at the adjacent Snack Shack was affordable and offered a decent selection, including vegetarian options. It's a wonderful spot for casual dining, with friendly owners who keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day. On the value side, the cleanliness of the premises stood out, as did the attentive service from the owners who ensured any extra needs, like an iron, were promptly met.
